Ben has always had a knack for making things by hand — that's why he'd rather make his own high-quality goods whenever possible instead of purchasing their mass-produced counterparts. His foray into the world of leathermaking got its start when Ben's friend gifted him a bag of leather scraps. From that pile of discarded scraps, Ben whipped up an iPhone case, then a wallet, teaching himself everything along the way. A few more experiments and he quickly realized that he could make just about any accessory he needed with a piece of leather — cut, rounded, folded and stitched just so. See, ma? No desk job required.
