Sometimes the hardest part about being a maker is letting go of the things you make. As a photography hobbyist and a lifelong lover of handmade, Leah often comes up against a mix of emotions when someone purchases one of her fabric camera straps. Elation that someone else likes what she’s sewn is followed by the sad realization that it has to leave its cozy home in her studio. In her designs, she aims to combine strength with classic style and modern textile trends. Each strap is a reflection of her values, her skills and the time she spends sourcing fabrics, sewing them together and personally testing the finished strap for durability.
