"In an age where emails saturate the way we communicate via writing, saying something on a hand-crafted card, in your own handwriting, is a great way to send a meaningful and memorable message."
Lemonade stands? Far too cliche for Katie, who started selling her homegrown cards at only four years old. And today, she's the graphic designer behind Concrete Lace's fine paper goods. After hand-printing her and husband Paul's wedding invitations, they were inspired to delve into the business realm – bringing us the well-loved Atlanta postcard series. Since their auspicious start, they've been featured in the likes of PaperCrave and Southern Living. Oh, and when they say hand-crafted? They mean it. All the (paper) goods are created in their home studio – in small, environmentally friendly batches. And Katie's award-winning designs are brought to life with historic letterpress printing. Historic, as in, with the aid of antique presses dating as far back as 1890. < less
