Crow Jane Jewelry

Jeweler of Geometry
Foothills, Denver

"I'm trained in architecture and interior design, and am very space and dimension oriented. I love geometry and scales, and use math in every piece that I make."

Jessica is here to answer the plea of every algebra student who whined, "Yeah. But what am I going to use this stuff for?". For she, a metalsmith and jeweler, uses the stuff. Every day, in fact. She forms each of her geometric pieces with organic findings, machined elements and, yes, even math — Jessica's constantly sketching up new designs to express the strange dichotomy between nature and industry, and they trail behind her just about everywhere. She's heavily inspired by the Southwest, too. After all, it's where she grew up (and, we're guessing, where she learned math).
