Trade: Jeweler of Geometry
Locale: Foothills, Denver
"I'm trained in architecture and interior design and am very space and dimension oriented. I love geometry and scales and use math in every piece that I make."
Jessica is here to answer the plea of every geometry student who whined, "Yeah, but when am I actually going to use
this stuff?" As a metalsmith and jeweler, she uses
the stuff of geometry daily. She forms each of her geometric pieces with organic findings, machined elements and, yes, even math. Jessica is constantly sketching new designs that tend to express the dichotomy between nature and industry, and she's heavily inspired by the Southwest, too. After all, it's where she grew up (and, we're guessing, where she learned math).< less
