Paper Pushers
Lewis, IA

“We're passionate about our goods being handmade, and we like to have control over every step of the process we can. We make all of our notebooks by hand and print all of our notecards and art prints in our own studio.”

Kate and Anne packed up their life in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle and moved to an 1895 farmhouse outside of Lewis, Iowa (population: 433). What were they thinking? Perhaps about raising chickens and having a big garden, with a studio that overlooks it all. Kate had always been an artist and illustrator; Anne has been her trusty paper-loving sidekick since middle school. Their “less is more” aesthetic definitely shines through in their awesome line of illustrated paper goods. Guess you could call them a little piece of the simple life that you can touch and hold in your world (population: 1).
