"In the days of mass produced items, we still individually handcraft each item. Our woods are all hand selected, eye meaured, and hand cut. As a result no two items are ever identical and each one is truly unique in its own way."
Perhaps if you're an avid paddler, you're already familiar with Danny Brown of Whitefish, Montana. He got his handcrafting start making canoe paddles in his wood shop. Of course, not wanting to be one who wasted the wood scraps, Danny began making side projects at whimsy -- beer carriers, lunch boxes, and beyond. His "side projects" eventually caught the attention of not only paddlers, but just folks who love that inspired feel of unique, individually-crafted wood creations in every facet of life. No surprise there; his creations are downright gorgeous... and we're pretty sure Danny's popularity goes way beyond that of the paddling world. < less
