Trade: Tableware Extraordinaire
Locale: Phoenix, Arizona
“My sense of humor tends to be a little twisted from the norm, and I enjoy sharing wry thoughts by stamping them onto a spoon.”
Carrie's line of quirky flatware began on the sheep farm where she grew up. Her rural rearing involved metal working of all kinds, a fluid skill that she now uses to breathe new life into vintage table settings. Though none of the silver-plated utensils or dishes in Carrie's collection are brand new, a number of them have been branded with new sayings that relay a sharp sense of humor and a soft heart. These wordy wares are discovered by the maker at local antique stores then hammered out with her messages, using a steel railroad track given to her by her father as the base. It's safe to say she's not the black sheep in her family flock. Far from it.
