“My cooking is founded in tradition, but there’s always the opportunity to create something new. I start with a cuisine that sparks my interest, and develop my own recipes based on what’s in season, and what I'm interested in eating.
It all started in Paris, as so many good things do. While studying in the City of Lights, Vanessa realized she couldn't just keep her love for foods from all over to herself. And so, she created a way to bring global cuisine to everyone—from the master chefs to the bumbling beginners—and removed the obstacle of sourcing hard-to-find spices and unusual ingredients in the process. Her DIY cooking kits provide the key ingredients and recipes based in tradition, but they always leave a little wiggle room for the more creative (or clumsy) cooks.
