While working the Manhattan political scene, Joyce and Danielle realized they didn't like shaping public policy nearly
as much as shaping dough. And thus, Two Moon's small-batch shortbread was born. The duo starts, as all cookie-making endeavors should, in the kitchen––they mix dough, add dashes of spice and then bake 'em into little squares of shortbread. Every batch is made in their Brooklyn shop and then thoroughly taste-tested for, ahem, quality. It might be tough, but Joyce and Danielle have no regrets. And even if they did, their mouths are too full of shortbread to tell us.< less
