William David Salon (Buckhead)
The Scoop: Someone wise once said: if celebrities are doing it, then it's probably a good thing. Or at least, a trendy thing. And while that wise person was most likely someone in charge at US Weekly, that's besides the point. Because in the case of William David Salon, this sentiment proves true. We can’t tell you which celebs have trusted William Murphy (founder of the salon) with their tresses; just know it’s an impressive roster. If you can’t land (or afford) an appointment with Bill himself, don’t lose your cool: he has assembled an expert team of stylists at various price points at their swanky Buckhead salon and they’re ready to snip, style and sexify your mane. Yes, we said "sexify." Trust us, all the celebs in US Weekly are saying it too.
Scout Notes: Walk into William David Salon and the trendy, professional, New York City vibe hits you like a hot rush of air (like a blow-dryer to the face?). Something about the chic décor and staff, the dark wood walls lined with only the best haircare products: it all assures you that you're in the right place. That is, if style and luxury are what you’re going for. Right smack in the middle of Buckhead in the Terminus Building, the salon does everything from cuts and colors to Keratin treatments and Express Keratin treatments (read: shorter process, less money), to facials and peels (try the limited-time cranberry peel for that perfect holiday glow). As for those top-notch products, William David carries Davines hair color which is truly the crème de la crème in the haircare world, as well as the N4 and Esuchen lines.
Okay, so we realize we’re in Atlanta, Georgia. But in here, it feels like Madison Avenue. Which leads to the inevitable question: "Can I afford this place?” And the answer I would give you is: "Yes, yes you can." William David does us all right by having stylists at different price points, so that beauty always fits well in any budget. And since every stylist in every price range is amazing, it's a win-win for us all; they all do everything on the service list too, so you’re not going to be passed off from one to another if you go in for a cut as well as color. If you really must have Mr. David handle your precious locks (after all, your hair is on par with the Victoria's Secret models that he's also styled), word on the street is that William takes on new clients from time to time. Hey, that could be you. But really, no matter whom you choose, your hair will be in good hands.
