We could go so far as to say that Jack's is the beloved honey badger of Atlanta pizza joints: in a world of artisanal dough, finely aged prosciutto, and nearly unpronounceable pies, Jack's don't give a sh… aved truffle about fancy pretense.

Some folks come here for the pizza… delicious, cheesy, sometimes weird pizza. But most? They come for the atmosphere (the dark, tattoo-y, often raucous atmosphere), the cheap beer, and that good feeling you get from spending time in a true neighborhood dive. Jack's isn't a gourmet pizza restaurant. In fact, it doesn't even really feel like a pizza restaurant at all… more like a glorious dive bar that happens to serve good, huge, cheap slices of pizza right alongside the ever-flowing pitchers of PBR. But that doesn't mean the pies coming out of the kitchen at Jack's aren't mouthwateringly delicious (particularly when paired with a fine wine cold beer). Go in, take a shot with the bartender, inhale a gooey slice of cheese pie, have a cheap pitcher of beer, hang out with Kenny the steadfast regular, have some whiskey, realize an hour or two later that you really do want to try that soul food pizza, and enjoy yourself. That's what Jack's is all about, God love 'em. Long live the dive bar, y'all.
