Tavern at Medlock is all of these things, but above all, it's true to its name: a quintessential bar where cold beer and hot wings are the name of the game. No frills, no schmancy, no bartenders who give you the side-eye if you ask nicely for a good ol' Budweiser, and nary a truffle salted, duck fat-fried French fry in sight. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there's a time and a place. And when you're getting off work and need a place to decompress, you need the healing powers of a low-key joint like this. The beer's cold, the bartenders are friendly, and with pool tables and TVs aplenty, there's a whole host of diversions to keep you busy while getting your recommended daily dose of beer.
