Sub Zero's fresh froyo is made in-house with organic, non-fat milk, with the exception of a dairy free optiion always on tap. So in a sea of froyo wannabeas, what made the two decide to set up shop? "We wanted to bring a healthy dessert to the community," says Heather. That's why eight months ago, Bobby and Heather opened the doors of their fresh frozen yogurt bar to the Smyrna community, and it's why after less than a year, they already have a steadfast crew of loyal regulars. It only makes sense - the two of them live in the neighborhood, and one can only handle so many Peanut Buster Parfaits before it takes its toll.
One of Sub Zero's biggest missions, though, is to be as kid-friendly as possible, which is why you'll spot some little ones having fun with the chalkboard in the shop's kids' zone. The shop also partners with local schools, hosts regular kid-friendly events and keeps dairy-free and gluten-free options on tap for kids with allergies. Needless to say, it's back by popular demand. You know you're doing something right when the customers are that into your product. But with a sweet treat as healthy and guilt-free as Sub Zero's froyo, can you really blame 'em?
