Treat yourself to a fresh roast; treat your besty to a blueberry facial... it's a dog's life.Your best friend is an attentive listener, an awesome running partner, and always down to kick back on the couch and catch up on some Golden Girls reruns. The only drawback to your otherwise ironclad friendship? Every now and then, his signature eau de swamp thing scent can be a bit overpowering. And since you're the one with the opposable thumbs in this relationship, well... time for you to do a little scrub-a-dub-dubbin', my friend. Instead of clogging your bathtub up with Labradoodle hair or subjecting your BFF to the embarrassment of the garden hose in the driveway (o, the humanity!), why not do right by him with something a little more spa-like? (And indulge in a good cup of joe while you're at it?)
Enter Perk-n-Pooch, a new spot where Spot can get spiffied up and you can get your caffeine fix, all in one. Inspired by their shared love of coffee and canines, the family behind this neighborhood dog wash and cafe are the first ones to bring the concept to Georgia: a place where you can get your canine pal in a lather (or have one of the Perk-n-Pooch staff soap him up for you) and have a cup of joe, while you're at it. (And have no fears of the fur flying a little to close to your coffee: with the cafe up front separated from the state-of-the-art bathing facilities in back, the dog-washing action is kept at a safe distance from your cappuccino.) The cafe even has a service window in the dog-friendly part of the building so you can kick it with your newly freshened-up pup and a mug of Perk-n-Pooch's house blend. Treat yourself to a fresh roast; treat your besty to a blueberry facial... it's a dog's life.
