Mangos Sushi & Grill

50% off Mangos Sushi & Grill
Here the staff is approachable and knowledgable (they even have a photo album full of sushi rolls), and it's alright if you don't don your Sunday best. See? Not every sushi joint is pretentious and scary.
At this casual Japanese joint, you get the sushi outing you've been yearning for, without the annoyance of getting all gussied up. Those worries you had about spilling sauce on your fancy pants? Kiss 'em sayonara. Pants, Schmants. This is a more like it– a comfortable dining style, with cozy booths, tables and softly-lit paper lanterns scattered throughout an ample space.

Mango Sushi & Grill Bar isn't putting on airs, but they do sling a mean roll or two. Way more than two, to be precise–they've quite the extensive sushi collection. And for newcomers to the sport of sushi savoring, they'll happily provide a photo album of all of their rolls for your perusal. You might say they were on a roll. (Ouch.) Anyway, they happily offer up staples like the Tropical Roll, with crab, cream cheese, pineapple, tuna, mango and tobiko. And if you're too nervous to venture into that particularly fishy food category, Mango provides plenty of other choices. Namely, Mango Steak (topped with baked shrimp, cheese, mushrooms and green onions) and the American classic: Philly cheesesteak. Not hungry? Sidle up to the full bar and enjoy a drink or three. We also hear-tell of some sake shots–and at a buck apiece, they'll fit into your budget quite nicely.
