Moon Indian Cuisine

50% off Moon Indian Cuisine
Moon is all about classics-done-right: masalas; vindaloos; and juicy, skewered goodness fresh out of the tandoor.
Sure, what we know as "comfort food" might involve a bowl of chicken noodle soup, a well-worn couch and a season or two of Designing Women on Netflix, but sometimes? Few things in the world are quite as satisfying as a steaming bowl of curry in a cozy little restaurant. And this little joint serves up some of the meanest Indian comfort food our taste buds have encountered. What, precisely, makes Moon Indian so downright comfortable? Perhaps it's the menu of flavorful, familiar Indian classics. Or the tiny dining room and friendly staff that feels more like you're in someone's home. If we had to guess? A well-seasoned blend of all of the above. (But especially the part about the food.)

Moon is all about classics-done-right: masalas; vindaloos; juicy, skewered goodness fresh out of the tandoor; and garlic naan so fluffy and buttery, we kinda wonder if Surya, the owner, is mainlining butter in the kitchen. Chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo are, of course, house favorites, but those who aren't of the carnivorous persuasion have plenty of picks from a seriously respectable vegetarian menu, where palak paneer and veggie curry reign supreme. Whether you're a lentil lover or a proud meat maven (there's no shame), Moon has one thing everyone can agree on: homemade ice cream, also known as kulfi. And this Indian version is actually even thicker and creamier than the ice cream we Westerners know and love.
