Whether you're sake-sampling on your lunch hour (guilty) or on the search for a new favorite sushi spot, Haiku Sushi & Steakhouse has you covered. Did we mention the sake?Next time you find yourself in front of a grocery cooler, staring at pre-packaged sushi during your lunch hour, we'd like to direct your attention to something a little more…edible. Haiku Sushi & Steakhouse in Alpharetta, to be precise. It's been providing fresh, delectable sushi, as well as a multitude of Asian fare to its devoted regulars for the past four years. The large space offers a quiet comfortable atmosphere for the power lunch types, while also providing an entertaining and lively dining environment in the evenings.
The restaurant focuses on fresh, authentic ingredients, including an impressive array of hibachi options. Professional chefs, who each have over 10 years of experience, expertly prepare Chilean Sea Bass and "Calamari Stick" in addition to the standard NY strip steak and chicken. Of course, there's sushi, too—and plenty of it. The Tsunami Roll is stuffed with spicy tuna and fresh avocado, topped with yellowtail, sliced jalapenos and dollops of wasabi and spicy mayo. And to wash it all down, Haiku Sushi boasts a full service bar with a slew of sake and Asian-fusion cocktails, which, we're happy to report, tickled our fancy. The rest of the place though? We found it relaxing. When we stopped by around lunchtime, the place felt very zen, and no, that's not just because we were lunchtime sake-sampling. Grocery cooler? We'll see ya never.
