TAPS Craft Beers

100% off one growler jug at TAPS Craft Beers
Whether you're a connoisseur looking for your new favorite hard-to-find beer or a newbie just trying to level up from your Coors Light days, the kind folks at TAPS are ready and willing to let the knowledge—and the brews—flow freely.
Just when we thought Decatur couldn't get any greater for a craft beer lover, this little joint opens up—and gives us taps upon taps upon taps of brews we aren't exactly going to find in the beer aisle at Kroger. Lance, the owner and head beer connoisseur in charge, doesn't just keep 40 beers on draught at all times (five or six of which will always be local)—he stocks over 200 bottles on TAPS' shelves, too, making TAPS one of the rare growler shops that also offers a respectable selection of bottled goods. So, between that and a 40-tap growler wall that changes constantly (they change out about 15-20 kegs a week), this joint certainly stocks a whole lotta beer. But hey, this is Decatur we're talking about, a.k.a. every Atlanta craft brew lover’s haven. And it's the neighborhood itself that Lance attributes to his ability to stock less common brews, thanks to Decatur's insatiable thirst for great beer.

Of course, even the most daring of beer drinkers will want to snag a sample before committing to a whole jug of something new. Happily, TAPS is proud to offer customers not one, not two but three (count 'em) free samples before they decide, a testament to their growing rep around town for awesome customer service. Not only are they generous with samples, they do their best to make sure everyone from beer nerds to novices walks out with something they’ll love. So, whether someone's a connoisseur looking for their new favorite niche brew, a casual beer-drinker searching for a hard-to-find seasonal beer, or a newbie just trying to level up from their Coors Light days, the kind folks behind the counter at TAPS are ready and willing to let the knowledge—and the brews—flow freely.
