With a rotating roster of refreshing, creative flavors and a bar of toppings that includes everything from M&Ms to mochi, Yogli Mogli is giving froyo the comeback it deserves. If there's one newly resurrected '80s trend that we're actually glad to see making a comeback, it's the sweet, creamy, low-fat goodness that is frozen yogurt. The indulgent treat now known as froyo may have got its start in our country's Golden (Lamé) Age, but nowadays, this dessert is anything but stuck in the past. With a rotating roster of refreshing, creative flavors (ahem, pecan praline) and a bar of toppings that includes everything from M&Ms to mochi, all served up in a bright, modern and cheerful shop, Yogli Mogli is giving froyo (frogurt?) the comeback it deserves. Aside from a mere 100 (give or take depending on the flavor) calories per half cup of yogurt with a yummy taste and smooth consistency, Yogli Mogli is also one of the more user-friendly joints in town: let the helpful employees treat you to up to three samples, and then fill up a cup to your heart’s desire from the wall o' 16 yogurts and bar of over 40 different toppings. They’ll weigh it (at 46 cents an ounce, it’s a cheap indulgence) and you’ll be ready to dive in, spoon in hand. Cue the singing.
