A seemingly simple triumvirate — slow-smoked meats, cold brews and good old-fashioned hooch — is the formula behind this sports bar slash rib shack's longstanding success.Barbecue, beer, 'n moonshine: could there be any holier a trinity? If you ask any of the regulars who've frequented Bullpen Rib House at any point in the past sixteen years of its existence, we think the answer would be a resounding no. And we're inclined to agree. That seemingly simple triumvirate — slow-smoked meats, cold brews and good old-fashioned hooch — is the formula behind Bullpen's longstanding success (and the reason that, even though the place is mere yards from Turner Field, you'll still see folks of all kinds filing in here during the Braves' off season).
Decked out with historic Atlanta sports paraphernalia and TVs broadcasting the crowd's sports game of choice, Bullpen is equal parts sports bar and classic rib shack. And that, for many a fan, is a match made in heaven. After all, what pairs better with a, er, riveting Falcons game than a rack of hickory-smoked ribs and a Terrapin brew? Besides, if things on the field get really rough, you can always turn to Bullpen's selection of infused moonshines to help dull the pain. (We're partial to the apple pie varietal.)
