It's friendly, it's come-as-you-are and it's totally community-driven (heck, they even let the neighbors name the place). And what of the pizza, you might ask? Well, let's just say that, too, is the stuff of which neighborhood dreams are made. Three little words, friends: By. The. Slice.
Yes, Slice of Brookhaven is of that rare breed of pizzeria that doesn't just sling big, delicious, larger-than-the-circumference-of-your-face pies (though they're mighty good at that, too). Here, instead of committing to an entire pie, you can have your margherita or your meat-lovers (or, in our case, both) by the slice. The easier to sample 'em all, we say. (A course of action that, based on our recent research here, we'd strongly recommend.) Also up for grabs: buttery garlic knots, custom calzones, heaping bowls of pasta, a killer meatball sub and even a new kids menu, 'cause Slice of Brookhaven is nothing if not family-friendly. To quote a wise old soul: it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
