Little Thai

50% off Little Thai
Little Thai is always managing to keep things interesting with new menu items, seasonal specials, and new variations on classic Thai recipes. The latest: an over-the-top concoction known as Volcano Shrimp, and two oh-so-refreshing sangrias.
Truth: a solid neighborhood Thai joint is hard to come by. And the quest to single out that one charming little gem is no easy task. But when that hunt ends in a cozy spot that whips up a mean pad-see-ew, serves seasonal sangrias, and was once bestowed with an award of excellence from the Thai Ministry of Commerce for serving up truly authentic grub? To the victor go the spoils, we say. And those delicious spoils — sangria, coconut cake, mango rolls, the whole shebang — can be found at a tucked-away little joint appropriately named Little Thai, a Sandy Springs favorite for ten years in the making.

We'll be the first to admit that, as much as we love a good, consistent bowl of curry, it ain't easy finding a Thai restaurant whose kitchen likes to mix things up every now and then. And really, one can only eat so many bowls of the exact same pad Thai before one's eyes begin to wander. Luckily, Little Thai is always managing to keep things interesting with new menu items, seasonal specials, and new variations on classic Thai recipes. The latest: an over-the-top, almost too pretty to eat (key word: almost) concoction known as Volcano Shrimp, which consists of a tower of perfectly golden tempura shrimp drizzled with a spicy chile aioli. We're also quite smitten with another new addition, albiet a slightly boozier one: the new sangrias on the menu. We're partial to the sake-spiked melon, mint and citrus concoction, but both are refreshing, delicious, and positively perfect for patio-sipping. Oh, yes, a patio: this place has one of those, too. Could a neighborhood Thai joint possibly get any sweeter than this? Well, yes, actually. Save room for their famous coconut cake. Trust us on this one.
