But a place where we can kick off our day with all the fanciest of fixin's that make us feel fit as a fiddle are a rare breed, indeed. (They don't call it the most important meal of the day for nothin'.) After 25 years in business, American Roadhouse is an Atlanta institution that's got breakfast down to a bona fide science (a delicious, delicious science). For the traditional folk, they've got the standby classics: eggs benedict drizzled with vibrant hollandaise and french toast dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled with syrup, to name a couple. But for us health-minded folk of the modern era, there's plenty to choose from too. (Yes, even you, Level 4 vegans!) One of our go-to healthy treats? The Black and White. A black bean patty with fried egg whites and salsa atop it.
But the fun doesn't stop there – American Roadhouse has got all the stop when it comes to our midday meal too. In fact, for those days when we party a little too hard and sleep through breakfast all together, we chow down on their behemoth, aptly named burger, the Hangover. It's golden crispy onion rings, sizzlin' beef patty, oozing melted cheese is quite the instant fixer-upper. Who said we had to wait until the evening to have a hardy meal? Clearly they'd never been to this li'l cornerstone of the Highlands.
