Here's an eatery where everyone – gluten-free or not – can tuck into a decadent meal. When we think of Paris, we have certain visions dancing in our heads: buttery croissants, crusty baguettes, boulangeries packed with bready delights… but wholesome, gluten-free options? C'est doubtful. That is 'til we came across Le Metro Crêperie. These intrepid pair of gluten-free gems are whipping up sweet and savory French treats with locally sourced ingredients—and nary a speck of gluten. Which just makes that Nutella crepe that much more enticing, non?
Chock-full of Francophone charm, the Curb Market's very own crêpe stand set up shop in early 2014. Because, let's face it, it ain't easy getting' by gluten-free here in the A, and they knew they could do something about it. At long last, here's an eatery where everyone – gluten-free or not – can tuck in to a delicious, fresh, sometimes even decadent meal. Le Metro Crêperie's menu includes both savory and sweet options that range from the traditional (ham and Gruyere; arugula and prosciutto) to the straight-up sinful (Samoa crêpe, anyone?). And, thanks to a base recipe that includes buckwheat, teff, and rice flours, the whole shebang has nary a speck o' gluten in sight. Au revoir, salad bar.
