This Alpharetta growler outpost has been built from the ground up by its owners with one mission in mind: to bring us the freshest and finest of beers. And with 20 of 'em regularly rotating through their drafts, there’s a bevy of brews to be had.If there’s one thing that’s been made clear to us since the Crafty Draught first set camp in Atlanta, it’s that the gents behind the enterprise are fluent in their brews. Co-owner Andre even has accolades that can assure us of it – just check out the placard with his name on it at the Roswell Taco Mac (he’s a man of great accomplishments). Since their Alpharetta outpost opened its doors about a year ago, they’ve been steadily pouring us the freshest suds this side of the Mississip’. With 20 regularly rotating beers on draft to peruse at any given moment, there’s plenty of imbibing to be had. Our favorite part about this location? We can even have a sip or four before we fill our growlers. Can’t decide between a Two Hearted or Hoplanta? Not to worry, you can order up 4, 4 oz. pours and make your informed selection before filling up your 32 or 64 oz. growlers.
Another thing we’re a big fan of? The interior of this place was built-out almost entirely by two of its four co-owners, Andre and Preston. (That reclaimed wood surrounding the growler chalkboard? That’s their handiwork. Pretty impressive, ain't it?) They put just as much elbow-grease and thought into their beer selection, too. Lookin’ for a bit of local flavor? They’ve got some good brews on tap for you – brews from Jekyll, Terrapin, Red Brick, Three Taverns, Jailhouse and Cherry Street breweries are featured regularly. Or, for those with more nation-wide tastes, they’ve got options from breweries all the way from New Orleans to Michigan and back again. (Even some choice selections from Sixpoint Brewery, all the way up in highfalutin’ NYC.) How are we to choose from this bevy of brew goodness? Looks like a flight or two is in order, y’all.
