Tucked away in a South Buckhead office complex, the folks of Neighborhood Eats are busied prepping all of the classic deli fare we could dream of. But these ain’t your average sandwiches, folks. These sandwiches are as fancy and delicious as it gets. We’ve long been on the hunt for the cure for the common sandwich. It seems that Atlanta is pretty much bursting at the seems with spots slingin’ decadent burritos, fancified crêpes, and even extravagant pot pies, but a fancy-schmancy sammich? Those are few and far between. So when we got wind of a deli tucked away on the ground floor of a South Buckhead office complex serving up elevated deli fare, we had to taste for ourselves. The owner of Neighborhood Eats, Andrew, has years of culinary training and perfected recipes under his belt. So the soggy and chewy grilled chicken behemoth of a sandwich you’d score somewhere else is taken to a whole new level here, bedecked with marinated grilled chicken, crispy fresh romaine lettuce, savory sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, roasted red peppers and a red raspberry balsamic reduction that’s cooked up in-house.
Yup, it seems like just about every classic eat is juiced up just so at this Buckhead outpost. Stop in for breakfast and treat yourself to an omelet made from scratch with farm fresh eggs or a breakfast burrito with homemade hash browns, Italian sausage, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, salsa, sour cream, and Cholula hot sauce. Of course Andrew’s wheelhouse is lunch, so you’ll want to drop back in. Whether you opt for a house-roasted turkey with a green olive, roasted red pepper and artichoke tapenade or an Asian pulled pork sandwich, which gets its smokey sweetness from slowly braised pineapple juice and soy sauce, making for a sweet and spicy Thai barbecue flavor. Did we mention these guys can also serve any of their amazing sandwiches as a wrap? It seems our quest for the perfect sandwich spot has finally found its happy ending. And just in case you're thinking that this would all make for great fare for your next event, you'll be happy to know they do catering as well.
Neighborhood Eats is one of the top-rated restaurants on Yelp in Atlanta, but it's not hard to see why. And this summer, Andrew is updating his menu with more delicious concoctions. Menu Highlights:

Hangover Burger, $10.99
House Roasted Turkey Sandwich, $8.99
