All Hail the Burger Queen of Atlanta

We here at Scoutmob HQ were in the mood for a food-fueled field trip. So what better place to take the team than Atlanta’s most legendary burger joint Ann’s Snack Bar? Some of us had been, others only had heard the legend (the strict rules, the long wait out on the patio), so we came prepared with our laptops and our own Wifi hotspot. (yeah, that's right. Nerd Alert!) We waited patiently, and sweltering, on that patio until Ann would let us our crew of six into the eight-person "snack" bar.

Once we were good and sweaty and as hungry as a bunch of laptop-carrying wolves, we took our seats inside as Ann handcrafted our masterpieces. Once the excitement climaxes, you are handed burger nirvana.

And here, for your Monday morning appetite, is our official Scoutmob review:

Scout #1 ordered: The Ghetto Burger, All the way.
Burger Verdict: The burger was seasoned so well, it seemed more like beef Casserole than hamburger.
Burger Aftermath: “Heat radiating from deep in my core! I feel like an inside out sauna! Digesting the beef will likely cause a mid afternoon snooze!”

Scout #2 ordered: Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries
Burger Verdict: The crispy bacon was simply the cherry on top of Ms. Ann's burger masterpiece.
Burger Aftermath: “Feeling great! As an Ann's veteran, I knew better than to order the Ghetto Burger and expect to actually walk away from the counter.”

Scout #3 ordered: Hood Burger, no lettuce.
Burger Verdict: My tastebuds feel... flooded. (Mumbles.)
Burger Aftermath: ”I think I'm going to fall asleep.” (Alas, 45 minutes later... Scout #3 had, in fact, fallen asleep at the desk. Busted.)
