As if we don't spend enough time with a beer in hand along North Highland Ave. This Saturday, the normal weekend routine gets even sweeter with the help of the first ever Highland Beer Fest (pictured). (Why didn't anyone think of this before?!) 100 craft beers and music galore, it’s worth strolling around, getting intentionally thirsty, and having a tasty brewskie as proceeds go to benefit the Inman Park Security Patrol.

THE WORLD’S BIGGEST WATER BALLOON FIGHT
Saturday, August 21, 1:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Save money on air conditioning and anger management, and cool off in the best way possible: projecting water balloons at anyone who crosses your path. The day-long extravaganza is attempting to beat the current Guinness World Record of 2,849 people. Be number 2,850? You’ll beat the heat and help raise money for Camp Twin Lakes.

NAMELESS MUSIC FESTIVAL (A.K.A. THE FESTIVAL WITHOUT A NAME)
Saturday August 21, 1:00 p.m. 'til it's over
It's at the Goat Farm. A bunch of bands will be playing. There will be food and beverages and tons of cool kids hanging out to watch the likes of This Piano Plays Itself, All the Saints, The Coathangers, Balkans and more. The only catch? This fest ain't got no name. But that's what makes it that much cooler. Also: be sure to carpool.
