Naked City: Pride
The Goat Farm, 1200 Foster St. (Westside)
Literary performance? Might sound like cardigans and elbow patches, but happily, no tweed is required at the monthly installment of Naked City, whose theme for September is "pride." Come armed with your best story/song/poem/dance--or just come to bask in all of the above.

"Hidden Away: The Library at Night"
Dekalb County Public Library, 215 Sycamore St. (Decatur)
No stranger to performing in nontraditional venues, the Lucky Penny have in the past brought their work into the likes of, say, a cardboard house. This time, they're bringing a performance "designed to enchant children and adults alike" into that most sacred of hushed spaces: the library. It's free, it's open to all, but most importantly, it's most likely not quite like any dance performance you've ever witnessed before.
