Star-gazing may be out of the question when those celestial bodies have to compete with our enchanting Atlanta skyline, but there’s another simple pastime to make our hot town, summer in the city complete. How’s about a lovin’ spoonful of outdoor movie watching to get both the film (and your summer) rolling? Besides, sometimes it can be a fun challenge to ditch Netflix and venture into the great wide open, bust out ye ol’ cooler and enjoy the fresh air. And even if we can’t stare into a sky full of stars, we can surely stare longingly into the silver screen (and don’t call me Shirley).
We’re all for enjoying a picnic with a side of cinematic adventure and luckily there’s a slew of options all over the city waiting for us to indulge in some outdoor movie magic. From new releases to nostalgic picks and family-friendly flicks, we’ve compiled a cheeky little list of venues just for you movie lovers. Enjoy!
