Billy’s Sub Shop. The simple name brings to mind your typical sandwich deli, but trust us, it’s so much more than that.Tucked away in Boston’s South End is Billy's Sub Shop, a cute little eatery offering up some of the tastiest breakfast and lunches in the city. Nearly 28 years ago, Taso Kalaitzidis and his family, who hail from Greece, took over the small shop. While he kept the original name, he modified the menu to incorporate ingredients and flavors from home. Today, Billy’s Sub Shop offers up a wide variety of menu options sure to satisfy almost any craving.
Breakfast ranges from traditional egg plates, breakfast sandwiches, and omelets, to French toast and pancakes. For lunch hungry diner can get one of the best selling subs, or more Greek-inspired dishes, like falafel wraps, the fresh Greek salad (a favorite among regulars) or the chicken kabob plate. In addition, Billy’s also offers up two different daily specials, including a full turkey dinner (for lunch) with all the fixin’s. No matter what you order, though, you can be assured of this: the food at Billy’s is always made to order with fresh ingredients. Try saying that about the typical Extra Value Meal lunch. You can't!
