Since 1989, this old-school pizzeria's been the go-to stop for stuffed pizza connoisseurs. And with the pie's towering salty crust, layers of stringy mozzarella, loads of pizza sauce and herbs, it all makes sense. This. Is. Good.
We already know that pizza is a big deal in Chicago, but at Tedino’s in Edgewater, it's the mighty stuffed pizza that's king. Since 1989, this old-school pizzeria's been the go-to stop for stuffed pizza connoisseurs. And with its towering salty crust, layers of stringy mozzarella, loads of pizza sauce and herbs, it all makes sense. This. Is. Good.

Ironically, Bill, the manager at Tedino’s, says he mostly goes for the restaurant’s thin crust pizza. It may not occupy as fine a point within our city’s pie history, but thin crust is also less likely to lead to extended naps, or worse, food comas. And if you’re in the mood for another Chicago classic, go for the Italian beef sandwich. All the bread at Tedino’s is baked fresh daily, which makes this sammie extra tasty. In another twist, Buffalo wings are given the “inferno” treatment, though the less daring can also get them mild. And finally, for those hoping for something on the healthier side (weirdos), the Dino’s (that’d be the owner) Chopped Salad and Caesar Salad are great, as well.
