When searching for the perfect spot for down-home comfort food, grab your compass and head west to a fun little eatery that gets it done. Hidden in the heart of Culver City is Tub’s Fine Chili, servin’ up the most delicious and creative chili menu we’ve found this side of Texas.

This friendly, family-run chili joint has something for eater. From steak-loving to vegan, and fried cornbread to brown rice, eaters of all types can do chili like they've never done before. High quality ingredients and mouthwatering flavors color every bite of the eight distinctly different interpretations (with one “featured chili” that changes from time to time).

After you choose a chili, you build your tub. Pick a carb (the toasted flat-bread is popular), or as a lighter option, ask for it over fresh chopped greens. Then add fixin’s to your heart's content...cheese, cilantro, corn nuts, onions etc. Attention heat-seekers: find some fiery pleasure in a splash of Tub’s T-N-T oil, a flavorless (although spicy), odorless (and dangerous!) habanero hot sauce. Do not skip the sweet and crunchy Hushpups, served with honey marmalade butter. And dessert, EUREKA! Big enough to feed a family of four, the ice cream sandwiches are made from chewy chocolate chip cookies and hold a Ghirardelli Fudge surprise at the center.
