Every little borough of our city has a least one that caters to its specific locals. But what makes a coffee shop great is when it can cater not just to one person’s needs, but to all of Nashville. Edgehill Café is one of those all-encompassing coffee spots. Whether you’re looking for a place to set up your computer for the afternoon, a table for a business meeting, space to work on your art project or a quick coffee to go, this café in Edgehill Village will be your new favorite.
It hasn’t always been this way. Last fall, Edgehill Café came into new ownership under Brite Revolution founder Winn Elliot, and he gave the place a major facelift. He wanted to reinvent the coffee shop into a place that encouraged a second home mentality instead of a quick turnaround. With only one foot in the door, you can tell his vision was accomplished. Edgehill Café has taken its spot in many hearts as a second office or home away from home. The Internet is never turned off and outlets are in abundance.
Not only is the atmosphere inviting, the food and coffee is pretty special itself. The turkey pesto panini and hummus and veggie sandwich top most lists food-wise from the menu while fun drinks like the cinnamon, vanilla and honey goodness of the "It's Always Fall, Somewhere", will warm the heart and tummy. And taking another little step away from the typical coffee shop, Edgehill Café hosts a 2-for-1 beer and wine happy hour every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Please note, the Scoutmob offer does not include alcohol.
So take a comfy seat in one of the two famous coffee bean bag upholstered armchairs, get some work done, stay to chat with friends and experience the wonderment of Edgehill Café.
