Tucked away in the heart of East Nashville's take on a shopping center, Alegria Gifts is a small but bountiful boutique filled with everything from handmade (to order) leather belts to a wide variety of local and vintage jewelry, and everything else in between.

Bil Beyer, a long time East Nashville resident and Brazilian native, opened up Alegria (which means “happiness” in his native tongue) nine years ago after a long stint in the leather and western boot industry. He recently switched locations to the ever-growing Five Points and is now part of a tight community of local business owners on Woodland Street. He highlights local work in his shop but also travels the globe to find different clothing and jewelry to stock his shelves. While the clothing and accessories might be ever-changing, there is a reliable stock of the fabulous HoBo brand purses and wallets that cannot be ignored. There are also plenty of items for the hard-to-shop-for men in your life, as well. Remember those handmade belts we mentioned? Those are custom made and fitted by Bil himself!
