While we love our fancy nights out just as much as the next guy, sometimes it's nice to be able to go somewhere casual and kick back and drink a cold one. However, we believe that your quality of food shouldn't have to suffer just because there is a pool table and a football game on TV. Luckily for us, Cross Corner Bar and Grill feels the same way we do.

Located in the heart of Brentwood, Cross Corner has been the local watering hole for the neighborhood for going on twenty years. However, it has taken on a bit of a new shape in the past couple of years and we are excited to watch the caterpillar transform into a beautiful, delicious, butterfly. The once smoky bar is now a smoke-free, family friendly restaurant that offers a menu put together by their very own executive chef. Yes, this dive bar has a chef. While the restaurant might be tobacco-free, there is certainly not a lack of smoking happening in the kitchen. The menu offers wings (an absolute must-try), turkey, and brisket that are smoked to perfection on site that could give some of Nashville's most infamous barbeque joints a run for their money. The chef also offers daily specials and in the fall will debut his Sunday Brunch which will feature Chicken and Waffles (yes!!), French Toast, and other brunch classics. Oh, and about the aforementioned “cold one” we were looking forward to drinking: Cross Corner offers thirteen brews on draft which includes our local favorite, the elusive Yazoo Sue, and a variety of other craft beer options.
