This family run, family friendly establishment serves up traditional Indian dishes, like Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Madras and Goat Curry, but with a modern twist.Fumbling around aimlessly after college graduation is sort of an early 20s right of passage. But Bobby Kumar, owner of Taste of India, had no such issues. (Imagine, like, the opposite of a character in Reality Bites.) As a child, Bobby spent a lot of time at his parents’ Indian restaurant and decided early on that he wanted to one day follow in their footsteps.
Two years ago, his dream became a reality when Taste of India opened for business.
Located on International Drive in Franklin, this family run, family friendly establishment serves up traditional Indian dishes, like Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Madras and Goat Curry--but with a modern twist. They also offer plenty of vegetarian options, like Aloo Gobi, to satisfy you herbivores out there. Tend to have a difficult time deciding what to order at a restaurant? We highly recommend Taste of India’s lunch buffet. Basically, it’s filled with a little bit of everything. To wash it all down, Taste of India offers traditional Masala Tea and Mango Lassi, as well as Indian beer and wine.
