Hana Sushi House is one of those places we find our smug selves wanting to keep a secret. Luckily though, we’re pretty horrible secret keepers. This place is awesome, mochi ice cream and all.Awkwardly located in a small shopping center behind a Waffle House in Mt. Juliet, Hana Sushi House is one of those places we find our smug selves wanting to keep a secret. Luckily though, we’re pretty horrible secret keepers and so we’re happy to share with you, fellow sushi devotees, our major love for Hana Sushi House and the 100-plus rolls that awaited us there.
Using only the freshest of ingredients, Hana’s sushi creations are as delicious as they are beautiful. Featuring snow crab, shrimp tempura and avocado, and topped with crab stick, eel sauce and spicy mayo, the Shaggydog is our go-to specialty roll (though we’ve also been known to rage on the 15-piece Sashimi Dinner). And for those who have a gluten allergy or other dietary restriction that makes dining out a little scary, fret not. Hana is well equipped to meet everyone's needs with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. And, of course, everything is customizable, save for the Mochi Ice Cream. We'll take that as is, please.
