With a little help from Jason Littrell (Death + Co.) and Marshall Altier (1534), the JBird team built the kind of cocktail program we'd travel much further than E. 75th to experience. Pick up the bible (a clothbound menu stamped with the JBird insignia) and see if you don't fall in love: there are dozens of signature and classic drinks, each designed with fanatical attention and skill, and it's all executed with local ingredients and housemade infusions. To ensure that everyone stays afloat as they work their way through the cocktail list, the JBird team has also put together one hell of a lovely bar menu; intricate, seasonal dishes from grilled octopus to roasted bone marrow complement the flavors in your glass and keep you sturdy enough to drain one of their epically stiff scorpion bowls.
