Putting the "never sleeps" back into the city that never sleeps, Hope Garage offers a rustic American menu till 4 a.m.NYC is supposed to be the city that never sleeps. But it does, in fact, take a little disco nap around 3 a.m., at least when it comes to quality places to grab a bite to eat. That's when the owners of Hope Garage, former club and bar managers in Manhattan, decided to take matter into their own hands and open a restaurant of their own specializing in a late-night menu. They've converted an old auto garage on Hope Street in Williamsburg into a sleek, hip dining space and now produce a rustic American menu in a pretty casual environment. So far hits from the menu include a Three Cheese Grilled Cheese with caramelized onions, a Pork Belly BLT, Classic Wild Mushroom Risotto and Baked Vermont Cheddar Mac & Cheese with garlic bread crumbs. They've also got an impressive lineup of craft beer and homemade cocktail syrups for a number of awesome cocktails. They're now open for brunch on the weekends, and have a projector for showing movies, games, etc. up on their wall. And since they serve a full menu 'till 4 a.m., you won't have an excuse about missing out.
