Fujiyama's menu is enough to awake anyone’s adventuresome palette – ultra-fresh fish, creative rolls, and an awesome BYOB policy.Sometimes after a long slog of a workday, we’ve all been guilty of relying too heavily on our predictable, go-to orders. Luckily, Fujiyama is here to help us out of our predictable order slumps. Their menu just what the doctor ordered to awaken our adventuresome palettes. Ultra-fresh fish? Check. Inventive sushi rolls brimming with flavor? Yup. And did we mention their awesome BYOB policy? Well, it's pretty stupendous.
We suggest kicking-off the true Fujiyama experience with a plate of their spicy tuna dumplings – fine pieces of crab wrapped up in fresh tuna and served with black pepper and wasabi oil for dipping. Their creative sushi keeps us on our toes too. The Aurora Roll is a lively combo of steamed lobster, shrimp, avocado, sun-dried tomato, mango, cucumber and cilantro in a soy wrap with a truffle oil and wasabi dressing. For adventurers with a taste for spice – the Tiger Roll and the Kiss of Fire kick it up a notch. The Tiger roll is a majestic and colorful specialty with lobster tail tempura, spicy tuna and avocado in a layer of white seaweed and purple sticky rice. The Kiss of Fire lives up to its name a healthy heap of spicy salmon, avocado, white tuna, jalapeño and chili sauce. Pro Tip: don’t forget to BYO sake. Gotta have somethin’ good to sooth that burning mouth after a spicy roll or two.
