Of all the things that make us want to sing the praises of
Nachos NY, Guac Rock always makes the top of the list. Let's face it: when you combine live music, Mexican food, and a booze cruise, you're basically building an expressway straight to our heart.
This year's edition of Guac Rock kicks off July 16 at 7 p.m., aboard the Jewel, a party boat that will float out past the Statue of Liberty while you and yours listen to tunes from Moon Hooch, North Highlands, and the Dan Piccoli Trio. The guacamole will flow freely courtesy of the winners of the last few Guactaculars, and the vessel will be stocked with tons of cheap ($3!) beer for the sipping.
