Two new businesses in the L.E.S. are of particular interest and, lucky for us, Bowery Boogie got the scoop. The first notable opening is the white-all-over Charles Bank Gallery, which just opened last week and is jump-starting their exhibit schedule with one by Kasper Sonne entitled "Pure Colors." This may be slightly ironic, given the blank canvas that is the space in which the works are being shown, but we'll let you judge the collection for yourself.

The second door you should consider walking into is that of the Inexpensive Delicacies Company, which is (despite a name change) the same much-loved Fried Dumpling that closed back in April of 2009 and which used to reside in the very same space. The interior boasts the same simplicity of the previous decor, and the dumplings are just as mouth-watering and ridiculously cheap as they ever were. So, if you've been mourning, quit your whining. For Fried Dumpling has risen again to feed us... it's just chosen to take a different name.
