Muppet Vault: Gonzo the Great

Union Hall, 702 Union Street, Brooklyn

Gonzo: an awesome writing style from Hunter S. Thompson and also one of our favorite muppets. In this instance, we’re raising our glasses to the latter of the two at Union Hall’s Muppet Vault: Gonzo the Great. They’ll screen a classic Gonzo-centric episode of the Muppet Show, along clips of his best moments throughout the show’s run. Sing along with the audience, grab a drink special, snag a cool giveaway, or just kick back and revel in the jokester’s legacy. Admission is $8.

Beertopia: Winter Series

Village Pourhouse, 64 Third Avenue, Brooklyn

When we hear the term “Beertopia” images of a 21+ version of Willy Wonka’s factory. This Tuesday, Beertopia becomes a reality (minus the ominous Oompa Loompas and mysterious disappearances) at the Village Pourhouse with the Winter Series, a lineup of seasonal brews ripe for the tastin’. Each $37 ticket grants each guest 5 tastings and 1 full pint of their choosing, from tangy ales to crisp lagers. Beertopia, we’re excited to visit you.
