The details

This curtain panel is hand-blockprinted and dyed in natural indigo. The curtain has 3" tunnel hem on top so you can easily stick a curtain rod through it.

Blockprinting is an ancient printing technique often made with the use of vegetable dyes. After the wooden block is carved with the pattern, the fabric is then prepared with multiple washes to make the fiber ready to take the dye. There are multiple printings and washing before the final product is placed in a dye bath of flowers and barks. The fabric goes through the hands of the block printer and dyer with utmost care.

This listing is for one 44" wide x 84" long curtain panel.

Gently hand wash or gentle machine wash separately for the first few washes. Please be aware that the color may bleed first few washes. (qty 1)
