Established in 1890, the Buffalo Brewing Company was located at Twenty-first and Twenty-second, and Q and R streets in Sacramento, California. German born Herman H. Grau organized the Buffalo Brewery, which during its heyday became the largest brewery west of the Mississippi with distribution throughout California, Nevada, Hawaii, parts of Asia and Central America.
