You know what’s a hundred times better than awards season? Festival season, and here in SF, it’s quickly approaching. White pop-up tents and closed off streets signify the start of the warm weather season and the carefree, let’s spend every second we can outside attitude. Last week we asked you:

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE SPRING OR SUMMER FESTIVAL?

Although it may not be a bonafide festival, San Franciscans have found a way to turn Bay to Breakers into an all out rager. Like most of the city, I’ve never actually participated in the race part, but man have I donned a costume or two. No telling what this year’s festivities will look like what with rumored “strict crackdowns” in place, but it won’t keep me from starting the day with a 6 a.m. bloody Mary.
