You should probably do laundry tonight, because you are definitely going to need something green to wear this weekend in order to avoid getting pinched. On second thought, you’ll probably be filthy in about 10 minutes after taking on the 5,000 people expected at this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, so just throw on the nearest thing lying on the floor. It all goes down on Saturday at 11:30 when the rowdy crowd of revelers will take off from 2nd & Market and makes its way to City Hall. Aside from the Irish escapade, be sure to check out this debauchery as well:

BOXWARS: FIGHT OR BE RECYCLED
Friday, March 11, 8 p.m.
It’s a duel to the death at Cellspace tonight. Death of your costume, that is. Competitors must build armor out of cardboard and tape (pictured) and face off with other recycling aficionados. In homage to the event’s punk rock roots, three bands will score the fight. So, how many helmets made out of empty PBR cartons do you think will be there?
WORLD NAKED BIKE RIDE
Saturday, March 12, 11a.m. to 3p.m.
Whether this a warning or an invite is up to you. Starting at 11 am, Justin Herman Plaza will be overtaken by naked bike riders protesting our dependency on oil. It’s been a tradition in cities south of the equator for awhile, but now the northerners are joining in. And we thought just riding a bike was enough of a statement.
