In the grand scene of things, SF shuts it down pretty early. Restaurants, bars, apparently people around here would rather get some sleep than keep the party going. That means limited options for late night bites, and strategic planning to make sure you end up near your favorite 2 a.m. snack provider. Last week we asked you:

WHERE DO YOU GO FOR A LATE NIGHT BITE?

OUR SCOUT SAYS:

I've depended on a gutter dog (street hot dog wrapped in bacon) to sustain me until breakfast from time to time, but if I'm within reasonable distance to The Corner on a Friday or Saturday night, I'll make my way there for a plate of Soul Groove’s Waffles and Chicken. It's like the perfect fourth meal that's part dinner (the chicken) and part breakfast (waffle).

YOU SAYS:

"Irving Pizza @ 19th ave. Their fries are on point!"
- Michelle Nguyen

"Katana-Ya!"
- Chandini Davis

"Ryoko Japanese Bar on Taylor with Post"
- @PKOjeda

"Nizario's. Best late-night fix!"
- @Joyce_Lin

"Taqueria Cancun."
- @MaximumGrindage
