Hello. Welcome to Friday. When you woke up on Monday morning, you probably thought this day would never come. But here it is. You made it! All by yourself. Let out a little squeal of delight, get out of your chair and do a small jig, raise your arm up in a “pumping motion.” Then read on to find out what we have in store for you this weekend:

WE DON’T WANT TO MISS:

RICKSHAW BAGS’ TWEED RIDE
Saturday, December 10, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tweed: a rough, unfinished woolen fabric, of a soft, open, flexible texture, resembling cheviot or homespun, but more closely woven. Why are we defining a piece of cloth for you? Because it’s the theme during Rickshaw Bags Tweed Ride, during which you are encouraged to “dress in traditional British cycling attire, particularly tweed plus four suits.” The route takes you on a nice little loop around the Mission and SoMa and ends at the factory where you get to check out how these little gems are made.

NOISE POP HOLIDAY SHOP
Sunday, December 11th, noon to 5 p.m.
This year’s shop-a-ganza is going down at Bottom of The Hill with over 25 local artists showing off their wares. Grab a basket and go to town! And even though it’s the holiday shopping season, that doesn’t mean you can’t buy a little somethin’ somethin’ for yourself.

And while we're talking local (CONTEST ALERT!)... by now, you're well aware the word of the day, every day, here at Scoutmob is local. So, we're encouraging you to pledge to support indie retailers this shopping season, and be entered to win a $200 shopping spree at Etsy, while you're at it. Take the pledge (no hands over hearts required) and get entered here.

PANCAKES & BOOZE ART SHOW
Friday, December 9th – Saturday, December 10th, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
You might not be used to eating pancakes at night, but then you’re probably not used to eating pancakes while looking at art. $5 gets you live music, body painting, pancakes and a chance to get up close and personal with over 75 of SF’s emerging artists.
